Aisha J. Young
Aisha represents clients in federal and state courts in civil trial matters including contractual and commercial business, personal injury, wrongful discharge, product liability and bad faith insurance. Prior to joining The Taft Law Firm, Aisha was an associate with a boutique civil litigation firm where she primarily concentrated on insurance litigation.
Aisha is licensed and admitted to practice before all Texas State Courts and in the United States Federal District Courts for the Southern, Northern, and Western Districts of Texas. Aisha serves on the Board of Trustees for the Houston Young Lawyers Foundation and is a member of the Houston Lawyers Association, Houston Bar Association and the Downtown Women’s Group.
Aisha is a graduate of Florida A&M University where she obtained her Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Sales. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from South Texas College of Law in 2005, earning such accreditations as Dean’s List for academic achievement and The George T. Barrow Award for the student who in the opinion of the Dean will be an outstanding attorney.
